Nancy takes the lead, bringing the two of them through side-streets that members of the gang would not likely be hiding in. The side streets also helped with their shortcuts, and it wasn't long before the two of them were climbing the stairs up to the flat.
"I'll get you some gin," Nancy said as she unlocked the door and ushered Jackie in, locking the door promptly behind her. After that, she closed the shutters. Give them some privacy.
